It's like a bank vault where everything is stored and secured with a password so that no one can see your files. You can use the app for everything from notes that you create to pictures and videos. The app doesn't take up a lot of space on the device, and it's easy to use as there aren't a lot of details with how to use the app in the first place.
There is a private bookmark that you can add to the phone so that all you have to do is click on it to open your files. The app is useful for those who find that others could have access to the phone, preventing them from being able to see the personal information that is stored as there is a password needed to unlock the safe.
Once the items are put in the safe, Vault-Hide SMS, Pics & Videos will keep them for a long period of time until you are ready to use the information or delete it from the phone. Aside from pictures and videos, you can store contacts from social media and their information as well as phone numbers that you might not want to keep on your contact list on your phone.
